Cabo Catoche

Some 45 kilometres from Holbox by sea, you'll find beautiful Cabo Catoche with its untouched white-sand beaches, located at the point where the Caribbean and the Gulf of Mexico meet.

A perfect place to go fishing (or if the weather is appropriate, snorkelling), Los Cuevones is a two-feet deep area of lush coral where you'll find an array of exotic fish, lobsters, octopus and if you're lucky, some harmless nurse sharks. On this trip, you may also come across dolphins and weather permitting, can sometimes return to Holbox through the mangroves in order to get a different perspective of the island.
