Shopping in Holbox

If you are looking for souvenirs to take home, you can find a number of pretty arts and crafts shops selling typical Mexican items, many brought over from the Chiapas area of Mexico which is famous for its handicrafts.

If it’s clothes you want, there are a few shops on the island, some specialising in traditional Mexican wear and others selling more modern beach dresses and bikinis etc.

Take a wander around the village; you’ll also come across shoe shops, jeweller’s and shops full of natural face creams, soaps and shower gels.
