Hotel Casa Lupita

Casa Lupita overlooks Holbox’s vibrant main square and is a great mid-range option for those who want something clean, simple and central. Occupying the third floor of a tall building with typical palapa-style rooves, this small hotel offers guests good value for money.

The hotel has a variety of comfortable rooms to choose from, some with views of the island and others that open out onto the pretty interior patio. Standard and family rooms are available, as well as large suites with private balconies. Many of the rooms can sleep up to 4 people – a perfect space for families – and all include Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV with cable, air conditioning, and free toiletries. Some suites also have a small sitting area, and the outdoor balcony provides a beautiful spot to watch the sunset while you sip on a glass of wine.

While the hotel does not have its own restaurant per se, Casa Lupita forms part of the Si Hotels group, and guests staying here can also use all the facilities at their sister hotel, Cielito Lindo. These include a beautiful swimming pool for cooling off, a sun terrace with comfortable sunbeds, and a very tasty restaurant, Aroma, which serves a range of yummy dishes and snacks. Moreover, in the same building as Casa Lupita, you can find Oliver’s, a wonderful American-style diner, which has some of the tastiest burger and fries with milkshakes on the island.
