Live the gastronomic essence of Holbox

Holbox is ready to party to the rhythm of the Caribbean with the 7th edition of its Gastronomic Sample "Eat, Love and Contemplate" (“Comer, Rezar y Amar”), taking place from November 16 to 18, 2018.

This year the gastronomic guests include the state of Puebla, represented by symbolic restaurant La Casa de los Muñecos, directed by Chef Lolita Zavala; and complemented by Iranian cuisine, served by the restaurant El Paladar de Persia and the Iranian Chef Soraya.

The hotel Las Nubes de Holbox, with its insignia restaurant. “El Sabor de las Nubes” will seek to offer guests a real taste of the essence of Holbox, with a lobster tamale, succulent shrimp brochettes and delicious octopus toasts - a delight for the palate capturing the true essence of this fishing village.

Other restaurants that will meet there are La Esencia de Casa Sandra, Aroma de Cielito Lindo, Olivers, Viva Zapata, Corazón de Mar, Maja'Che of Xaloc Resort, Tamashi of HM Villas Palapas del Mar, Villamar and Buena Vista Grill.

But good food always needs to be accompanied by excellent music. On Saturday, you can enjoy a reggae concert with one of the most relevant bands in this genre, Antidoping. On Sunday, the show will close with Colombian cumbia from the wonderful group, La Sonora Dinamita.

It is so that the island of white sands and turquoise seas, home of the whale shark and the best sunsets in the Caribbean offers its visitors once again the essence of Holbox.
