Beach Clean Up

Would you like to give something back to the island and get to see a part of the Yum Balam Nature Reserve off the beaten track? If so, join the VIP Holbox team on their free Pristine Beaches Clean Up tour.

Every Monday, weather permitting, tour operator VIP Holbox organizes a free trip to the beautiful Ensenada for a morning of beach cleaning. Due to the tides and currents, this uninhabited area where turtles come to lay their eggs often gets littered with garbage, especially plastic bottles.

Volunteers are taken on a boat trip past Punta Mosquito to these virgin stretches of beach to help pick up what they can. Come and join members of our community and fellow volunteers like yourself for a fun and, more importantly, worthwhile adventure in paradise.
