Villas HM Palapas del Mar is a new, luxury hotel sitting directly on Holbox’s beautiful main beach. This top-end accommodation has everything you would expect of a hotel of its calibre – friendly and personalised service, beautiful rooms, top facilities, and two first-rate restaurants.

The hotel is one of the largest on the island with nearly 60 rooms, but it continues to be tranquil, spread over a large area with wonderful views of the Gulf Sea beyond. The rooms have a clean, modern feel – huge king-sized beds, a large shower, hair dryer, television, air conditioning, ceiling fans, private terrace, and WiFi. Double or family rooms with two beds are available, and guests can choose to have a garden or sea view, as well as a personal plunge pool – perfect for families.

The facilities in the hotel make for a comfortable and relaxing stay. There are two swimming pools; one with a pool bar and shallow child-friendly area and the other infinity-style on their large terrace with amazing views of the beach. Food and drinks can be ordered at both, or you can choose to eat in either restaurant (upstairs or down). Sun loungers and beds, hammocks, and plenty of parasols are scattered around both swimming pools and on their expansive beach area in front of the hotel.
