If you’ve chosen Holbox as a vacation destination, it’s because you’re looking for tranquility, long streches of relaxed beaches, and most importantly, the quiet. Casa HX encompasses all of this and more, providing everything you want from a hotel in one of the most exclusive and serene parts of the island.

This beautifully decorated hotel is located in the far west-side of Holbox in Punta Cocos, famous for its bioluminescence and surrounded by dense mangroves which invites an array of birds, including morning visits from the shy pink flamingos.

Although it only has 14 rooms, Casa HX offers a variety of room types, including large suites and double rooms with both pool and garden views. 13 of the 14 rooms have a private balcony or terrace, air conditioning, WiFi, a safety-deposit box, fans, speakers, and a minibar as standard. If you are travelling with a family, don’t think twice – their king suite with pool view has an American king-sized bedroom with separate living room with a large double sofa bed and a fully-equipped kitchen.

The hotel facilities are top-class with a lovely internal swimming pool, a wonderful roof-top terrace bar with stunning views of Holbox’s turquoise-green sea, lounge area, and a massage service to spoil yourself during your stay (by appointment). A buffet breakfast is available daily and food can be ordered to the communal areas throughout the day. While the hotel is not on the beach, Casa HX does offer a ‘Take me to the Beach’ service which includes a beach bag with fresh beach towel. If you would like to take food and drinks to the beach, this can be bought at the hotel and packed into a cooler backpack.
